Education: Completion of high schoolCredentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid CertificateExperience: 1 year to less than 2 yearsLanguages: Speak English, Read English, Write EnglishChildren s Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)Work Setting: Employer s homeSpecific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Take children to and from school and to appointmentsTransportation Travel Information: Public transportation is not availableWork Location Information: Work in employer s client s home, Room and board provided, Rural communityOther Languages: ItalianEssential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizingOther Information:Must have 1 year full time experience within the last 3 years.
