Education: Completion of high schoolCredentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid CertificateExperience: 1 year to less than 2 yearsLanguages: Speak English, Read English, Write EnglishChildren s Ages: Infant (3 months - 11 months), Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years)Work Setting: Employer s homeSpecific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parentsTransportation Travel Information: Public transportation is availableWork Location Information: Room and board providedEssential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Decision making, Job task planning and organizingOther Information:Must have 1 year full time experience within the last 3 years. Must reside in the employers home for the duration of employment. Private room provided. Room and board charge $336 per month. |
